Equipment for Talas
This year we completed two projects in Talas for the Rehabilitation and Speech Therapy Center for children. KCF initially funded the purchase of Tomatis equipment and training for the center’s doctor in 2022. This year we renewed the license for the equipment, so it can continue to be used and benefit even more children.
The Tomatis therapy supports children with speech, sensory, and other disorders. It is an audio therapy program that has been shown to improve brain function, including motor, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
We also helped the center purchase equipment for a sensory room for children with disabilities. This includes a balancing toy, a swing, and climbing wall.
