December Collection for the Orphanages!
We collected educational toys and clothing for the Baby Houses in Bishkek and Tokmok through December, 2011.
For Ak Beshim Orphanage, we collected clothing and shoes for children ages 7 – 16.
In January, 2012, everything was shipped by container.
Kyrgyzstan Heritage Weekend!
Families who adopted children from Kyrgyzstan gathered in the Washington, DC area on Memorial Day weekend (May 28-29, 2011) for two days of fun family activities celebrating the culture of Kyrgyzstan.
KCF receives its 501(c)(3) status!
Kyrgyz Children’s Future has been determined to be a public charity by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). All deductions made to KCF after September 6, 2006, are retroactively tax deductible!
